Setting up a new account
Vespin sets a new account up after sign-in, before its first task: whether it's for you or your team, a team workspace with its picture and invitations, an agent to connect, GitHub through Vespin's GitHub App or a personal access token, and your tools, Linear, Slack, Sentry, and Notion. The team, agent, and GitHub steps can each be skipped, and setup picks up where you left it after a reload. Whatever you skipped waits on Home as Finish setting up, over New task, until it's done. - A personal access token stands on its own: Vespin keeps a classic token
with the
reposcope as the GitHub user it names, with no GitHub account linked first (#6394) - New task on Home puts the caret in Home's own message box rather than opening its dialog over it (#6498)
- Vespin reacts with 👀 to a Slack message it acts on, in place of an "On it" reply, and its Slack messages leave out link previews (#6483, #6493)
- An agent started from Slack is named from your message and wears Slack's mark in the sidebar and its page's bar, and its transcript draws your Slack message as a line of its own, linked to it in Slack (#6503, #6506, #6508)
- A message in a Slack thread brings its archived agent back, or continues its work in a new agent once it has stopped, and an agent whose Slack turn finished archives itself as a finished automation run does (#6518)
- Pictures travel both ways through Vespin's Slack bot: the ones you send an agent from Slack reach it, and the pictures an agent shows or a thread carries come back under its Slack message (#6511)
- An agent started from Slack stops offering to run commands on your Mac once anyone else's words in the Slack thread reach it (#6512)
- Settings › Workspace draws the Slack bot as it draws GitHub: Add channel beside its ⋯, its default repository and each channel on a row of its own, and a line saying how to add it when it's in no channel (#6505)
- A GitHub line in a transcript wears its sender's GitHub avatar (#6482)
- A window or page that fails to draw shows the Vespin mark, what failed, and Reload, and nothing else (#6496)
- An agent's recordings show the same pointer the live view draws over its browser (#6532)

- Fixed a menu item's printed shortcut doing nothing while its menu was open (#6480)
- Fixed an Inbox thread with many pictures and videos crashing a phone's browser (#6440)
- Fixed an agent failing to start on a repository with no commits yet (#6504)
- Fixed a Slack thread's reply saying only "The agent finished." when the agent had answered, and an agent not knowing its answer to a Slack follow-up goes back to the thread (#6507, #6510)
- Fixed a Settings page or version history that failed to draw standing off center (#6491)
- Fixed a reply under one of Vespin's Slack DMs starting a stray agent rather than answering that Inbox thread (#6550)
- Fixed another task's sub-tasks staying on a plan's head after you switched tasks (#6548)
