Your agents can work Vespin

Claude Code, Codex, Claude.ai, and ChatGPT can now work Vespin for you through its MCP server at vespin.dev/api/mcp: reading and starting tasks and agents, editing plans, messaging agents, answering the Inbox, commenting, running automations, and acting on an agent's pull request, all as you. Vespin asks first, on a page that names the agent and what it may do. Settings › Integrations lists every agent you let in, each with Revoke, and Connect an agent gives the server's address and each agent's steps. vespin.dev/api/mcp in light monospace, its mcp in copper, on Vespin's graphite, with the landing page's gray square dots gathering softly in the top-left and bottom-right corners.

Places and things

Places stand in the middle of the window, and things open on the right. A task is one frame, its Overview first and then a tab for each agent, and it opens on the agent waiting on you, otherwise the most recent. A page, file, or pull request from any task opens beside you, under a line naming its task with Open task, and Back and Forward put the panel back exactly as it was. Threads open in the Inbox, which can be narrowed to one task. (#6584, #6612)

Vespin's whole window on the Teammate invitations task: its Overview and two agents' tabs on the top row, the Add teammate invitations agent's conversation in the middle, and Usage this month, a page from the Usage-based billing task, open on the right under a line naming that task with Open task.

Pages in the conversation

A page an agent shows draws in the transcript, and under its link in an Inbox thread, at its whole height with no frame, in Vespin's own colors and type, light or dark. Full screen and Open in panel wait in its corner, and a page may now hold up to 1 MB. (#6572, #6670, #6675, #6677, #6679)

An agent's transcript where Showed a page draws the Invite funnel, beta week dashboard inline at its whole height in Vespin's dark theme: four stat tiles, a stacked bar chart of invites by day, and a table of where the rest stand, then the agent's answer.

Snooze

Press H on an Inbox thread, or choose Snooze from its menu, to put it away until In 1 hour, Tomorrow, Next week, or a date and time you pick. It comes back to the top of the Inbox, unread, when its time comes, or sooner when someone writes on it. View options gain Snoozed, and the sidebar's Inbox count leaves snoozed threads out. (#6686)

The Inbox with the Teammate invitations question chosen and its Snooze menu open over the list: In 1 hour, Tomorrow, and Next week, each with its time, then Pick a date and time….

Every agent works on a task

Every automation run, every Slack message to Vespin, and every agent another agent starts now works on a task of its own, so its helpers, pull requests, and transcript stay together. A run's task is named for its automation and when it fired, as in "Nightly triage · Nov 4, 9:00", and each marks itself Done once its agents finish well with nothing waiting on you. A finished run's task leaves your sidebar. (#6673, #6676, #6678, #6682, #6695, #6707, #6720)

Instant, even offline

What you change draws the moment you press: a new task or automation, a task's status, pin, block, or move, a comment, a member's role, an invitation, a workspace's name, an integration, and your default models. A change Vespin refuses comes back with a toast saying so. ⌘Z takes back your last change to a task or agent and ⇧⌘Z puts it back. On the Mac your lists draw from disk as Vespin opens, and a change made offline stays drawn and lands once you're back online. Improvements

  • Settings › Agents names the credential Claude and Codex each run on, and a row in trouble offers its fix, such as Sign in again or Manage usage (#6609, #6614)
  • Connecting Claude or Codex draws its plan and API key as settings rows, with a switch for which one new agents use, and setup and Home's Finish setting up connect either in place (#6618, #6625, #6672)
  • The model menu ends on one line saying who pays, your plan or an API key with what it has cost so far (#6605)
  • Codex agents run GPT models on Fast, on an OpenAI API key or your ChatGPT plan, and GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol add Ultrafast on an API key (#6573, #6577, #6587)
  • Where an agent runs reads as one Runs on chip in New task and an agent's message box, whose card says where it runs and whether that's online (#6734)
  • Slack DMs let you answer an ask that takes several options with a checkbox for each, and a to-do with Mark done or Couldn't do it (#6724, #6735, #6738)
  • An agent started from Slack offers Open in Slack on its menu (#6732)
  • An agent hears when the merge queue takes its pull request out, with GitHub's reason, and queues it again or tells you why it can't (#6568)
  • An agent's pointer is an amber arrow that ripples on a click, and its recordings show the keys it presses as key caps (#6542, #6549)
  • @ offers your workspace's automations, and an automation's chip wears what fires it and how its last run went (#6636, #6688)
  • An agent you ask to make an automation links it in its reply (#6635)
  • An @ row hangs the same card as the chip it writes, and an agent's chip names its model and shows it working (#6671)
  • The Tasks page stays drawn between visits and draws only the rows and cards near the view, so it opens at once however many tasks it holds (#6599, #6622, #6680, #6683, #6697)
  • Home's Recent and a person's tasks draw as the Tasks page's rows (#6729)
  • Every repository is drawn the same way, its owner's picture then its name, with owner/name only where two share a name (#6733)
  • Hover cards for agents and pull requests draw at once from what Vespin already holds (#6595)
  • A pull request's Chapters arrive on their own once a teammate's generation finishes (#6603, #6627)
  • Files changed scrolls smoothly through a long pull request (#6589)
  • Vespin draws a working agent in its own blue again, apart from the copper of one that needs you (#6600)
  • Recommended and Needs you read as quiet words rather than badges (#6674)
  • A name cut short in a chip or badge ends in an ellipsis, and pills draw their words in full ink (#6723)
  • Setup's Back and Skip line up with its card's edges, and its step count holds still (#6574)

Fixes

  • Fixed a new account getting no workspace, which left Start disabled and GitHub unconnectable (#6753)
  • Fixed the same Inbox thread being listed more than once (#6762)
  • Fixed an archived agent that wouldn't open when pressed; it opens on its own page from anywhere (#6761)
  • Fixed a failed turn offering Continue in new agent when the agent could still take your next message (#6757)
  • Fixed an agent started from Slack missing an image sent as HEIC, such as a Mac screenshot (#6759)
  • Fixed a hover card on a phone opening off screen (#6760)
  • Fixed the web app's pages failing to load after a dropped connection, and its toast then saying a new version was ready (#6754, #6756)
  • Fixed an update failing with only "Couldn't install" while Vespin ran from its disk image, which now offers to move itself to Applications (#6593)
  • Fixed setup greeting an account that had already finished it on another device (#6557, #6580)
  • Fixed a scheduled or triggered automation run sometimes failing as "the agent never started" (#6565)
  • Fixed a Claude setup-token pasted from a wrapped terminal line being refused (#6564)
  • Fixed the model menus offering a model's batch version, which no agent could run on (#6575)
  • Fixed Merge when ready and the Pull request tab's other controls flicking back to their old state after a press (#6567)
  • Fixed a plan's sections jumping as you clicked into it to edit (#6556)
  • Fixed dragging a Tasks card while a quick add stood open snapping back (#6653)
  • Fixed a lone small picture in an Inbox thread drawing enlarged and blurry (#6594)
  • Fixed Reply not appearing after a triple-click on an Inbox message's last paragraph (#6579)
  • Fixed a hover card vanishing while you held ⌃⇧⌘ to screenshot it (#6585)
  • Fixed a name's hover drawing square corners in Inbox threads and comments (#6561)
  • Fixed an automation's zap standing off center at a sidebar row's end (#6640)
  • Fixed a phone zooming on a double tap, bouncing on a drag, and keeping a button lit after a tap (#6681, #6689)
  • Fixed controls on a phone too small or too close together to tap (#6684, #6714, #6722)
  • Fixed dialogs and ⌘K drawing under a phone's notch and home indicator (#6691)
  • Fixed a message box on an iPhone hiding under the keyboard (#6727)
  • Fixed a phone correcting what you typed into search and name fields (#6687)
  • Fixed New task's box on a phone wrapping onto two rows (#6693)
  • Fixed the web app's loading mark standing off center on a phone (#6736)
